“2024 & Beyond: Creating Our Shared Future” Series May 1 Town Hall on Reproductive Rights

Movement Leaders Unpack The Conservative Agenda To Roll Back Women’s Reproductive Rights

Atlanta, GA April 24, 2024 – chromatic black™, in collaboration with SisterSong/Women of Color Reproductive Justice CollectiveCenter for Popular Democracy, and a network of concerned citizens, will host the second “2024 & Beyond: Creating Our Shared Future” Town Hall – Reproductive Rights on Wednesday, May 1 at 7 PM ET. The town hall, the second in a series on shaping a more equitable future for all, will unpack The Heritage Foundation’s Vision for America, widely referred to as the MAGA Plan. The host of panelists will dive deep into Project 2025’s efforts to dismantle Roe vs. Wade and decades of women’s reproductive rights progress.

“Project 2025 is a continuation of a calculated assault on our bodily autonomy, spearheaded by well-funded groups with deep ties to influential policymakers and Supreme Court justices,” says Abeni Bloodwoth, chief executive officer and founder, chromatic black™.

“2024 & Beyond: Creating Our Share Future” Town Hall – Reproductive Rights will be a candid discussion about the ramifications of The Heritage Foundation’s efforts to roll back decades of progress for women. Monica Simpson, Executive Director of SisterSong/Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective, will moderate together with the following movement leaders:

“2024 & Beyond: Creating Our Share Future” Town Hall – Reproductive Rights is a call to action, urging the community to come together to advocate for smart policies and compassionate values to ensure a thriving democracy for all.

“It’s imperative that we illuminate their meticulously developed blueprint for restricting access to abortion and reproductive healthcare and confront the regressive policies that advocate for outdated and ineffective methods. These actions are not only an infringement on our rights but a direct threat to public health, and our entire democracy. It’s vital to educate, debate, and shape our future together in order for democracy to survive,” says Abeni Bloodwoth, chief executive officer and founder, chromatic black™.

Project 2025 and Its Implications

Distinguished thought leaders will dissect the far-reaching impact of the MAGA Plan’s Project 2025, as it is conceptualized and the conservative blueprint designed to realign America’s policies and governance structure away from what its proponents see as regulatory overreach, towards a more deregulated, market-driven society.

Project 2025 lays out specifics for hundreds of policy objectives affecting every area of public life. Many of them affect three primary areas:

  • First, the dismantling of environmental regulations, clean energy measures, and clean climate policies;

  • Second, a rollback of civil and political rights for women and LGBTQ populations and the elimination of public health measures; and

  • Third, a massive purge of career civil servants and increase in the concentration of power in the Executive Branch of the White House to consolidate an entrenched authoritarian regime.

Upcoming “2024 & Beyond” Creating Our Shared Future” town halls will focus on LGBTQ rights (May 30), public education (June 27), immigration (September 26), and racial equity (October 24). Dates subject to change.

Discover The World’s Smallest “Mountain” – The Mount Paltry

Discover The World’s Smallest “Mountain” – The Mount Paltry Move over Everest, there’s a new headline-grabber in town and it’s barely taller than you are. Mount Paltry has exploded on social media as the world’s smallest mountain , a tiny bump in Australia that has become internet-famous precisely because it looks… well, not very mountain-like at all. In a world obsessed with extreme hikes and record-breaking peaks, this modest mound has captured global attention by doing the exact opposite: being proudly underwhelming. Where on Earth Is Mount Paltry? Mount Paltry is described in viral posts as a miniature mountain in Australia, rising only a few metres above the surrounding land. It’s usually shown as a small, rounded rise in an otherwise flat landscape the kind of bump you might expect to call a hill, or even “just a bit of ground,” rather than a mountain. That’s exactly why people love it: the contrast between the dramatic title “world’s smallest mountain” and the very ordinar...

Glamorous Plus-Size Wedding Guest Dresses in Beautiful Styles

Glamorous Plus-Size Wedding Guest Dresses in Beautiful Styles Did you know that over 67% of women in the U.S. wear a size 14 or larger? Yet, despite the demand, the fashion industry has been slow to provide elegant, well-fitting, and on-trend plus- size wedding guest dresses. Many women face limited choices, ill-fitting designs, and outdated silhouettes that fail to highlight their curves. Shopping for the perfect dress can feel like navigating a minefield either the options lack style, the fit is off, or the available dresses don’t align with the formality of the event. For years, plus-size women have been told to “hide” their curves instead of celebrating them. Traditional formalwear often lacks the structure, comfort, or aesthetic appeal needed to make plus-size wedding guests feel just as glamorous as their straight-size counterparts. The frustration of sifting through uninspiring racks, struggling with restrictive fabrics, or settling for ill- proportioned designs is all too fami...

Sculpt Society Review Sharing my thoughts on Sculpt Society and if I’d recommend this workout! For today’s post, I’m excited to share an updated review on one of my all-time favorite workouts! I was ad-targeted for this one forever, and since I always love trying new body workouts and absolutely love dance cardio, I figured I’d give it a whirl about a year ago. This workout program was founded by Megan Roup ( you can check out her Instagram here ) and I’ll share a full review below.
