7.18 Friday Faves

7.18 Friday Faves

Hi friends! Happy Friday! What are your plans this weekend? It’s my nana’s birthday, so we’re celebrating the birthday girl, I’m teaching a barre class, and meeting up with a friend for brunch. It should be pretty low-key and lovely.

This week has felt SO chill compared to last week’s sale extravanzana. Between the EquiLife sale, Prime Days, and the Nordstrom sale, it felt like a lot. (I also tried to share products in a way that didn’t bombard you guys!) Thank you again so so much to those of you who have shopped through my links, and don’t forget that you have until Sunday night to enter the wellness giveaway here!

(your chance to win a Lumebox!)

It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party. This is where I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your faves, too, so please shout out something you’re loving in the comments section below.

7.18 Friday Faves

Fashion + beauty + random:

The Nordstrom sale is still going strong, and here are the bestsellers so far:

Hanky panky (I wear these pretty much every day)

This set of bangles

The best wireless bra

These fleece pants

This perfect travel backpack

This classic tote for work, travel, or life

This kids’ fleece hoodie

Sexy and classy lingerie

This ADORABLE girls’ set

This is my go-to daily cleanser because it’s gentle enough for my eyes

This cozy sweater at a ridiculous price

Ordered this for Liv for Christmas

You can browse all of the top picks here!

Some of the fam came over for dinner on Sunday night and we swam, ate street tacos, and drank margaritas.

This was my second batch of these triple berry bars over the weekend – we all loved them so much and the girls went crazy for them.

For dinner, I made barbacoa, shredded chicken, Instant Pot Mexican rice (I’ll make a recipe page for this because I updated it a little and it’s so easy and good), madre brought the best beans, and we also had chips with homemade tomatillo salsa.

A couple of pics:

This is so random, but I finger crocheted my first blanket. P has been really into crochet lately and inspired me, and it ended up being a nice way to watch TV and do something with my hands that wasn’t scrolling in the evenings. I used this yarn and this tutorial.

Read, watch, listen:

FINALLY on Season 7 of Younger and I already feel like it’s not going to end how I want it to end so should I call it quits? Or finish it out??

What summer books are you reading?

Different strategies to try for sleep.

Definitely check out this week’s podcast episode about the magic powers of water here.

Fitness, health, and good eats:

Need to try this crispy smashed potato salad.

Family Pickleball date! (Liv didn’t want to play, she was just there to hang out and enjoy snacks with us)

Heads up: if you’re interested in joining me as an Integrative Health Practitioner, it’s the biggest promo I’ve ever seen them offer. You can use the code SUMMER750 here for $750 off levels 1 and 2, and you also receive a free Starter Kit (my two fave intro functional labs) and a 7-day detox.

Becoming an Integrative Health Practitioner is one of the best things I’ve done for my health, our family, my wellness clients, and my business. If you’re passionate about health and wellness, I can’t recommend this program enough. Dr. Cabral is the best, and our community is filled with inspirational humans who genuinely want to help others and each other. You don’t have to currently work in the health or wellness industry to become certified. If you have any questions, I’d be happy to help.

Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today! Have an amazing weekend and I’ll see ya soon!

xoxo

Gina

Discover The World’s Smallest “Mountain” – The Mount Paltry

Discover The World’s Smallest “Mountain” – The Mount Paltry Move over Everest, there’s a new headline-grabber in town and it’s barely taller than you are. Mount Paltry has exploded on social media as the world’s smallest mountain , a tiny bump in Australia that has become internet-famous precisely because it looks… well, not very mountain-like at all. In a world obsessed with extreme hikes and record-breaking peaks, this modest mound has captured global attention by doing the exact opposite: being proudly underwhelming. Where on Earth Is Mount Paltry? Mount Paltry is described in viral posts as a miniature mountain in Australia, rising only a few metres above the surrounding land. It’s usually shown as a small, rounded rise in an otherwise flat landscape the kind of bump you might expect to call a hill, or even “just a bit of ground,” rather than a mountain. That’s exactly why people love it: the contrast between the dramatic title “world’s smallest mountain” and the very ordinar...

Glamorous Plus-Size Wedding Guest Dresses in Beautiful Styles

Glamorous Plus-Size Wedding Guest Dresses in Beautiful Styles Did you know that over 67% of women in the U.S. wear a size 14 or larger? Yet, despite the demand, the fashion industry has been slow to provide elegant, well-fitting, and on-trend plus- size wedding guest dresses. Many women face limited choices, ill-fitting designs, and outdated silhouettes that fail to highlight their curves. Shopping for the perfect dress can feel like navigating a minefield either the options lack style, the fit is off, or the available dresses don’t align with the formality of the event. For years, plus-size women have been told to “hide” their curves instead of celebrating them. Traditional formalwear often lacks the structure, comfort, or aesthetic appeal needed to make plus-size wedding guests feel just as glamorous as their straight-size counterparts. The frustration of sifting through uninspiring racks, struggling with restrictive fabrics, or settling for ill- proportioned designs is all too fami...

Sculpt Society Review

Sculpt Society Review Sharing my thoughts on Sculpt Society and if I’d recommend this workout! For today’s post, I’m excited to share an updated review on one of my all-time favorite workouts! I was ad-targeted for this one forever, and since I always love trying new body workouts and absolutely love dance cardio, I figured I’d give it a whirl about a year ago. This workout program was founded by Megan Roup ( you can check out her Instagram here ) and I’ll share a full review below. Heads up that this review isn’t sponsored; I signed up for a 7-day free trial and am still a paying happy member over a year later. I’ve tried a lottttt of fitness apps in my routine and am always pumped when I find a winner. You can use my referral link to get a 7-day trial plus one month free on the fitness app! Sculpt Society Review What Is Sculpt Society? As I mentioned above, Sculpt Society was created by celebrity trainer Megan Roup and is a blend of dance cardio, barre, Pilates, and traditiona...
