1.30 Friday Faves

1.30 Friday Faves

Hi friends! Happy Friday! How are you? What are you up to this weekend? We have the usual basketball game shuffle, celebrating my brother’s bday, and I’m looking forward to a low-key pizza and movie night. I hope you have a relaxing and lovely weekend ahead.

It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party. This is where I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your faves, too, so please shout out something you’re loving in the comments section below.

1.30 Friday Faves

Fashion, beauty, random:

I don’t think I’ve given it a proper blog shout out, but I’m obsessed with the OneSkin lip mask. It’s better than other lip masks I’ve tried and has cleaner ingredients, plus the OS-01 peptide for anti-aging. It’s plumping, super moisturizing (no dry lips this winter) and I looooove it. Use FITNESSISTA15 here.

Date night at Fleming’s! The Pilot goes frequently for a volunteer organization he belongs to, and I always feel left out lol. We planned a little date night and it was amazing. Fleming’s is a chain, but it’s one my favorite restaurants in Tucson. It’s consistently amazing every time. We really cut back on restaurant dining over the past year, but it’s one of the places that feels *worth it* to me.

Read, watch, listen:

The live Tony Robbins event is everything so far. If you need a mindset shift and a huge boost, check it out on his YouTube channel.

Bridgerton is finally back and i’m sooooo ready.

Latest Substack is here about how I turned the blog into a business.

Fitness, health, and good eats:

Special delivery from my friends at Lovebird, my favorite cereal. I LOVE cereal but I don’t love the ingredients in most of them. It’s one of the few brands that I’ll buy on a regular basis and the kids love it, too. Our toddler neice is coming for a sleepover soon, and I’m excited to pack some up to share with her – I know she’ll love it, too.

This Thistle muffin was perfection:

Peptides Q&A:

If you’ve been hearing more and more about peptides and feeling curious (but also cautious) you’re not alone. That’s exactly why my friend Tina and I are hosting a Peptides Q&A Chat: a chill yet educational conversation between two practitioners who have seen meaningful results personally and in practice when peptides are used appropriately and responsibly.

This is not medical advice and not a protocol call; it’s an open discussion about what peptides are, who they may be helpful for (and who should wait), why foundations always come first, and how to approach peptides ethically through proper medical supervision. Our goal is to answer common questions, clear up misinformation, and help you feel informed as you make the best decisions for your unique body.

Link to sign up is here.

Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today! Have an amazing weekend and I’ll see ya soon!

xoxo

Gina

Discover The World’s Smallest “Mountain” – The Mount Paltry

Discover The World’s Smallest “Mountain” – The Mount Paltry Move over Everest, there’s a new headline-grabber in town and it’s barely taller than you are. Mount Paltry has exploded on social media as the world’s smallest mountain , a tiny bump in Australia that has become internet-famous precisely because it looks… well, not very mountain-like at all. In a world obsessed with extreme hikes and record-breaking peaks, this modest mound has captured global attention by doing the exact opposite: being proudly underwhelming. Where on Earth Is Mount Paltry? Mount Paltry is described in viral posts as a miniature mountain in Australia, rising only a few metres above the surrounding land. It’s usually shown as a small, rounded rise in an otherwise flat landscape the kind of bump you might expect to call a hill, or even “just a bit of ground,” rather than a mountain. That’s exactly why people love it: the contrast between the dramatic title “world’s smallest mountain” and the very ordinar...

Glamorous Plus-Size Wedding Guest Dresses in Beautiful Styles

Glamorous Plus-Size Wedding Guest Dresses in Beautiful Styles Did you know that over 67% of women in the U.S. wear a size 14 or larger? Yet, despite the demand, the fashion industry has been slow to provide elegant, well-fitting, and on-trend plus- size wedding guest dresses. Many women face limited choices, ill-fitting designs, and outdated silhouettes that fail to highlight their curves. Shopping for the perfect dress can feel like navigating a minefield either the options lack style, the fit is off, or the available dresses don’t align with the formality of the event. For years, plus-size women have been told to “hide” their curves instead of celebrating them. Traditional formalwear often lacks the structure, comfort, or aesthetic appeal needed to make plus-size wedding guests feel just as glamorous as their straight-size counterparts. The frustration of sifting through uninspiring racks, struggling with restrictive fabrics, or settling for ill- proportioned designs is all too fami...
